Element
What is an element? An element is the pure chemical substance of the same atom. So far, there are 118 elements, 92 of them are natural, while the rest are man-made. Elements can be made through combustion. examples of elements are Mg-Magnesium, Fe-iron,O-Oxygen and C-carbon.
Mixture
A mixture is two or more substances mix together with out heat or light energy. Thus, there is no chemical reation between the two substances. An example of an mixture is air, which consist of mainly nitrogen, and also oxygen, carbon dioxide and many other gases.
Compound
A compound is two substances combined together chemically. Heat/light energy is required to form a compound. The compound does not have the same properties as its constituents. Examples of compound is sodium chloride.
